WE TEACH STUDENTS — NOT SUBJECTS

Focus on Learning offers students a nurturing educational environment for”new beginnings.” For 37 years we have worked with students to bring out their best to become confident and successful learners.

We are currently focusing instruction on high school students  Our goal is to offer these young men and women the individual subject tutoring and test prep for ACT, PSAT, SAT they need to succeed in college and in life.

At no time has education been more important.  Students will need the education to participate in a society that is. becoming increasingly technical and science-driven.  Good jobs will be available for those who are educated to fill them. 

Our goal is for every student to be college or vocationally ready — to have the reading, writing, math, and science skills that will lead to success in college and other post-secondary classes.

We are committed to working with Columbia Public Schools both as professionals and as a Partner in Education. We sponsor the MAC Scholar high school program, which works with historically under-represented students in Columbia Public Schools, offering ACT courses at no cost. Focus on Learning is proud to be a part of the rich learning community in Columbia.
