It makes sense to incorporate the ACT into the daily curriculum because the ACT is a subject based test. The intent is not to turn classrooms into ACT prep factories but to incorporate aspects of the ACT tests that are reflected in the curriculum into daily lesson plans. For example, why ask teachers to write ACT “type” questions when they can easily use questions that have already been developed by the ACT?

Materials teachers will receive attending the Teaching for ACT Success workshop
Participating teachers receive a wealth of information to take back to their classrooms. They receive ACT tests, information relating the content of the four subtests to their classroom curriculum, power points, worksheets to incorporate into their classes and more. They will have access to a website where they can download everything they need. New material is added to this website on a regular basis.
