Faster Reading for Success
[/vc_column_text][divider line_type=”No Line”][vc_column_text]The average student reads too slowly—about 170-220 words per minute. This makes reading a chore. When reading slows, comprehension suffers. Slow readers take twice as long to complete assignments. They struggle to finish in-class tests and score poorly on timed tests like the ACT because they cannot finish. In contrast, skilled readers read 400-600 words per minute or more and skim over 1,000 words per minute.
Our speed reading instruction turns slow, distracted readers into fast, motivated readers.[/vc_column_text][divider line_type=”Full Width Line”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1474404836945{margin-top: 40px !important;}”]IN OUR SPEED READING CLASS (OFFERED BOTH IN GROUPS OR ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS) STUDENTS LEARN TO

- Vary their reading rates depending on what they are reading and why
