The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test ( PSAT/NMSQT)

Our 20-hour PSAT course is designed for top-tier students aiming for the National Merit Scholarship–the most prestigious scholarship of all. Our PSAT classes and one-on-one tutoring have a proven record of boosting student scores.  In the past two years alone, our PSAT class has grown in popularity as 44 of our alumni have been named  National Merit Semifinalists and  National Merit Scholars.

Professional educators and standardized test experts Dr. Ene-Kaja Chippendale and  Dr. Gary Moss designed the content for our 20-hour PSAT class, tailoring it to the needs of the nation’s finest students. The instruction equips students with the knowledge and strategies they need to master the PSAT test’s toughest questions.

Our PSAT prep class is designed specifically for the needs of the very top test-takers.  The competition for the Merit Scholarship is fierce.   Only the top 1% of students in EACH STATE qualify as semi-finalists, and the qualifying score number varies from state to state.  This adds up to about 16,000 students nationally.  Semi-finalists must then provide additional information that includes  an application provided by the NMSC that asks for a high school transcript, SAT scores, a list of extracurricular activities, a personal essay, and a recommendation from the high school principal.  The good news is that  around 90% of semi-finalists become National Merit Scholars.

Our proven 20-hour PSAT Class can be the road to the Merit Scholarship!
