Take ACT practice tests
The 16-hour Fundamentals ACT class is for both students who have never taken the ACT and those who need a boost in their scores. Those who complete this course regularly see gains of 1 to 4 points, which builds confidence and leads to greater opportunities in their college journey.
The Fundamentals ACT class includes both content review and practice taking authentic ACT tests. Students take practice tests for homework and to gain skill and confidence.
By the end of our ACT Prep Fundamentals Class, students will have
- A step-by-step guide for approaching each ACT test, starting with knowing how much time to spend on each test and each question on the test.
- Strategies for interpreting questions and eliminating incorrect answers for each test.
- Skill and confidence to move through each test, knowing when to leave a question and just guess and thus not waste time
- Developed confidence in their answers and not second guess themselves.
An ACT prep class that empowers students with test-taking wisdom
The skills students acquire in this class empower them to learn from their test-taking experience. They can then choose to apply that learning to future standardized tests. As a result, they experience less stress and see score gains that would be far less likely if they simply took the test repeatedly without guidance. Students need to know why they miss questions in order to make progress.
Like our other test prep classes, the Fundamentals ACT Class has a proven record of raising student scores. Education and testing experts Drs. Ene-Kaja Chippendale and Gary Moss designed the content, tailoring it to the needs of diverse learners.
