Why English is not enough:
Many colleges, including the University of Missouri, now require students to have a minimum of two years of a foreign language to enroll. Students in liberal arts programs have to take additional classes to graduate. A person who learns another language is enriched intellectually and culturally.
Focus on Learning Center offers foreign language instruction for students preschool through college in Spanish, French and Japanese. Teachers use both school and supplemental materials.
Students who are enrolled in language classes can work one-on-one with experienced teachers. |
